Grenoside Singers is a mixed-voice choir, based in Grenoside, Sheffield. We have a repertoire which spans popular, classical and religious pieces.

We were formed in January 2007 when the Grenoside Male Voice Choir opened its doors to ladies for the first time in its 56-year history and we have been developing a new mixed-voice repertoire ever since. There are 4 sections in the choir: Tenor, Bass/Baritone,  Alto and Soprano, each with a section representative on the choir management committee.

Although we practise and often perform in churches or church premises, we have no religious affiliation.

We also organise social events through the year and we have an annual dinner towards the end of the year.

We're back!

Monday night meetings will resume gently on Monday 19th July. Please see the item on the news page for more details.

While our rehearsals are suspended we are continuing to meet online each Monday at 8pm for Zoom meeting catch up/chat. You can join with your PC/laptop/mobile phone app or simply dial in from your phone.

Sadly the technology isn't quite good enough for us all to sing together but at least we can make sure we're all coping ok!

If you wish to be included on these meetings, please send an email to info@grenosidesingers.co.uk so that meeting details can be sent to you.

In light of the current Covid 19 situation, we have decided to suspend our rehearsals until after Easter.

Our next meeting will be on Monday 20th April at the earliest - to be confirmed nearer the time.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
